On... Ignorance I recently encountered a person who had very conflicting ideals, opinions, and views on the holiday season so many love and cherish. He informed me that he is offended by "Christmas", the fact that it is a Christian holiday, and directly references Christ. Actions scream with passion and endure, even as words are whispered and blown away to be scattered among the leaves and vanish if spoken too loudly.

 oh how feeble our minds are! we sit and watch our own lives drift by like wraiths in an old photograph. like scenes from a memory we ignorantly observe the life we have been given; carefree and as selfish as a child who obtains a new toy. what reckless keepers we are over such a precious gift we have received!

the most profound thing, in the natural realm of life, is the understanding I have attained for the value of humility and self-enlightenment. there is simply too much to learn and understand on this planet with the ephemeral life we have been given; a simple gift from He who could squander it in the blink of an eye. oh how I wish I could refine my vestal mind!
